Based in Tampa, FL, CR Fitness is one of the largest franchisees of Crunch gyms in the United States. NB Group completed a recapitalization of the company alongside the existing management team in 2018 and has helped to drive strong growth of the company’s club footprint in Florida and Georgia. All members of the existing management team remained with the company and continued to own a very high percentage of the business.
Growth plan
Aggressively open new locations in order to take advantage of the management team’s expertise in identifying new locations and ramping them quickly. In addition, selectively consider opportunities to purchase competitors that are being poorly run, but have strong locations.
